Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Garza Elementary Library is to support and enhance the educational goals of Sharyland ISD and  Garza Elementary by providing a safe, inclusive, and resource-rich environment that inspires curiosity, fosters a love of reading, and empowers all students to become critical thinkers, effective researchers, and lifelong learners prepared for a changing world.

We are excited to introduce Beanstack, a fun and motivating reading program that encourages students to read every day. Using an easy-to-use app or website, students can track their reading minutes and books while participating in exciting reading challenges.

Beanstack’s goal is to spark a love of reading, build strong reading habits, and celebrate student success. Parents can follow their child’s progress, cheer on achievements, and support reading at home. Together, we can make reading a fun and rewarding part of every day! 📚✨
